Junior Kids Open Returns To East Lothian

U.S. Kids Golf, have announced that they will once again be hosting their European Championship in East Lothian. The event - which is open to children
aged between five and 18 – will take place from June 1-3 on some of East Lothian’s oldest golf courses. Now in its third year, the tournament is regarded as one of the top events for junior players and is expected to bring hundreds of the world’s best young players to Scotland to compete for the European Championship title.
The tournament over June 1-3 will take place on four historic courses - Gullane No. 2, Gullane No. 3, Craigielaw Golf Club and Longniddry Golf Club – which are modified for each age group in order to provide the same level challenge, meaning holes are progressively shorter as the age groups get younger. It ultimately allows the players to reach the greens in the same number of strokes as the top pros on the PGA tour.
